International Orders and Import Charges
Nation Props ships products internationally. By placing an international Order, You acknowledge and agree that the shipment may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, customs clearance fees, and other charges imposed by the destination country, its customs authorities, or the shipping carrier.
Import Duties and Taxes Are the Customer’s Responsibility
Any applicable import duties, customs duties, tariffs, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges required for the importation or release of an international shipment are the responsibility of the Customer/Recipient/Importer.
These charges are not charges imposed by Nation Props and are separate from the product price and shipping charge paid to Nation Props, unless a specific shipping option expressly states that applicable duties and taxes are included.
Nation Props does not collect, receive, determine, or control the amount of customs duties or import taxes assessed by the destination country.
Customs Charges Are Determined by the Destination Country
Customs authorities in the destination country determine whether an imported shipment is subject to duties, taxes, tariffs, or other import charges.
Nation Props cannot guarantee that an international shipment will be exempt from such charges and cannot guarantee the amount that may be assessed.
The Customer is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the import regulations applicable to their country before placing an international Order.
Carrier Collection of Import Charges
Depending on the shipping method and destination, the shipping carrier may collect applicable import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges from the recipient before or upon delivery.
A carrier’s collection of these charges does not make them a fee charged by Nation Props.
Refusal of Delivery
If a Customer refuses to accept a shipment because of customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, or other charges assessed by the destination country, the shipment may be returned to Nation Props.
The Customer may be responsible for costs associated with the return, including return shipping charges, carrier fees, customs-related charges, and other costs incurred as a result of the refusal.
Refusing delivery does not automatically cancel the Order or entitle the Customer to a full refund.
Customs Declarations
Nation Props will provide shipping and customs documentation as required by the applicable carrier and customs procedures.
Any customs declaration made by Nation Props will be based on the information required for the shipment and applicable shipping/customs requirements.
Customers may request information regarding the customs declaration; however, Nation Props cannot provide or submit inaccurate, fraudulent, or misleading information for the purpose of avoiding legally applicable duties or taxes.
No Control Over Customs Assessments
Nation Props has no control over:
- Whether a shipment is inspected by customs;
- Whether duties or taxes are assessed;
- The amount of duties or taxes assessed;
- Customs processing times;
- Customs clearance requirements; or
- Additional charges imposed by the destination country or carrier.
Customer Acknowledgment
By placing an international Order, the Customer acknowledges that additional import-related charges may apply and that such charges are the responsibility of the Customer/Recipient/Importer unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.
